Products and Services
Dougherty Engraving Services provides custom engraving, printing, personalization, decorative products, commemorative products, and related services.
Because many products are individually made or personalized, slight variations may occur between photographs, digital proofs, samples, and finished products.
Colors displayed on computer monitors, tablets, and phones may also vary from the appearance of the actual finished product.
Customer-Supplied Information and Artwork
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of all names, dates, wording, photographs, logos, artwork, graphics, and other materials they provide.
By submitting artwork, photographs, logos, designs, or other material to Dougherty Engraving Services, you represent that you have the right or permission to use that material for the requested purpose.
Dougherty Engraving Services reserves the right to refuse any order or artwork that we believe may violate applicable law or the intellectual-property rights of another person or organization.
Design Proofs and Approval
When a proof or design preview is provided, the customer is responsible for reviewing it carefully before approval.
Approval of a proof indicates acceptance of the spelling, layout, design, images, and other personalization shown.
Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes, cancellations, returns, or refunds may not be possible.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, product-description errors, or other mistakes appearing on the website.
Custom work requiring design changes, special materials, unusual preparation, or additional labor may require additional charges. Any significant additional charges will be communicated before the additional work is performed.
Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when necessary, including orders involving suspected fraud, payment problems, unavailable materials, technical errors, prohibited requests, or circumstances that prevent us from completing the product safely or legally.
If we cancel an order that has already been paid and no work has been completed, the applicable payment will be refunded.
Custom Products
Customers understand that handmade and customized products may contain minor variations that are normal results of engraving, printing, coating, machining, finishing, or fabrication processes.
Such minor variations are not considered defects.
Intellectual Property
The Dougherty Engraving Services name, branding, photographs, original product designs, website content, graphics, and other original material may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially used without permission.
Rights to customer-supplied logos, photographs, artwork, trademarks, military insignia, organizational marks, or other third-party content remain with their respective owners.
Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Shipping and Returns
Purchases are also subject to our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms of Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dougherty Engraving Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of products purchased through this website.
